Columbus police seek SUV driver after hit-and-run injures pedestrian in crosswalk

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A man suffered life-altering injuries after he was struck by a dark-colored SUV in a crosswalk on Morse Road in Columbus, and investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify the driver who left the scene.

The felony hit-skip happened Jan. 24, 2026, at approximately 6:05 p.m. Police said the man was crossing Morse Road from the north side to the south side in a crosswalk with the walk signal.
