M.L.K., Jr. St. Bridge Over 131 Set to Close for Construction
According to MDOT, the project will replace and rebuild a 700-foot-long section of the Martin Luther King St. bridge over 131.
MDOT says that that portion of the bridge still contains some of the original components that were used when it was constructed back in the 1920s.
In addition to the bridge closure, the northbound on and off ramps to US-131 will also be closed. The southbound on and off ramps will remain open…
