Brother Martin edges Denham Springs 4-3, punches ticket to Division I title game

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WGNO) – After allowing three unanswered goals from Denham Springs, Brother Martin’s Nathan Wellman calls game before the final two minutes of the contest.

The Crusaders led 1-0 at the break, and didn’t waste much time in the second half posting back to back goals but Denham Springs struck back to tie the game at 3 a piece.

Crusaders’ head coach Matt Millet says it was one of the wildest halves that he’s ever coached. “That’s a semifinal. We’ve been looking forward to this game when the seeds came out. This was going to be the game. They’re very good. We played earlier in the year but again, thats second half was wild.”…
