BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Dog owners gathered in downtown Baton Rouge Sunday for the Mystic Krewe of Mutts parade, an annual event organized by the Capital Area Animal Welfare Society, commonly known as CAAWS.
The day began with a “Bark in the Park” party, followed by a dog costume contest and then the parade. Leading the festivities was Grand Marshal “Cane the Third,” the dog featured in Raising Cane’s commercials.
