HOUSTON — An investigation is underway after an hours-long police standoff at an extended-stay hotel off the North Freeway in north Houston, police say.
The standoff started around 11:50 p.m. at the Suburban Studios extended-stay hotel located along I-45 near Rankin Road. The man was taken into custody around 5 a.m.
