Asheville, NC – Heavy snow is moving into the North Carolina mountains tonight, especially along the NC/Tennessee border, where strong winds could make travel dangerous through Monday morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, heavy snowfall combined with wind gusts up to 50–60 mph will continue through late tonight and into the first half of Monday before gradually tapering off.
