BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Court documents reveal the gruesome details of a 23-year-old woman who died in a hospital after a possible domestic violence incident. 29-year-old Brandon Grimaldo, who claimed she fell in the shower, was arrested after officers found blood-splattered evidence in their home.
Court documents said on February 7, 2026, Bakersfield police officers responded to Adventist Health Bakersfield about an assault investigation involving possible domestic violence and great bodily injury.
