CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As colder temperatures return to the Charlotte area, some residents say their natural gas bills are rising sharply, leaving them concerned about the cost of keeping their homes warm.
Several Piedmont Natural Gas customers told WCNC Charlotte they have seen noticeable spikes on their most recent bills, with some saying costs are far higher than what they have paid in past winters.
