Update: According to Florida law, traffic crash reports aren’t available until 60 days after the incident, unless the person requesting the report was involved. The Alligator is unable to request the identification of the pedestrian at this time. No update has been made on her condition.
Update: Adi Syama, a Hare Krishna member, confirmed the box truck involved in the crash belongs to the organization but didn’t provide the name of the driver. Krishna canceled its regular lunch on campus following the incident, citing “unforeseen circumstances” in an Instagram story.
“Everybody’s really shaken. They feel extremely bad about what happened,” Syama said. “We just pray for the welfare of the student, and from our understanding, it was no one’s fault, just an accident.”…
