MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department (MPD) released photos on Monday of the suspect vehicle involved in a shooting that fatally killed a 14-year-old inside a Southeast Memphis residence in January.
MPD says the car is a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia with temporary tags.
On Jan. 22, officers say they were called to a shooting scene in the 4900 block of Simsbury Drive around 2:40 a.m. They say a male teen was shot to death inside a home.

WREG crews spoke with a mother in January who was brought to tears after a teen, who she says plays with her child, was shot and killed. The woman says, as a mother, it’s too hard to process the violence that happened so close to home.
“I don’t even know, I can’t even process it right now. Because that could’ve been my child, just having out, you know, or anything,” said Nicole Bishop. “There are two children who are that age, and they are the ones who actually walk our younger ones around.”…
