A new development that would feature 176 single-family homes is being proposed for a 33-acre property next to an Ocala high school.
The proposed development is part of the Marion County Planning and Zoning Commission’s regular meeting agenda on Monday, Feb. 23.
The applicant, Tillman & Associates Engineering, LLC, representing property owner Heather Island, LLC, is seeking to rezone approximately 33.27 acres from Single-Family Residential (R-1) to Planned Unit Development (PUD).
