LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A man was sentenced to up to 120 years for raping two Lancaster County spa workers at gunpoint in 2024, according to the district attorney’s office.
Christopher Rivera, 38, of Middletown, will be spending between 60 and 120 years in prison after being sentenced Friday, a spokesperson for the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office said.
Rivera had previously pleaded guilty in November to robbery, rape by forcible compulsion, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and sexual assault charges.

Calm Spa employees told Rivera the business, located in the Penn Township Shopping Center in the 1200 block of Lancaster Road, was closed around 8 p.m. in August 2024, according to the district attorney’s office. He then pulled out a gun, pointed it at an employee and demanded money.
