Bradenton man found guilty of methamphetamine distribution

A 34-year-old Bradenton man has been found guilty by a federal grand jury of distributing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Alejandro Marquetti-Blanco faces a penalty of 10 years to life in federal prison, according to an announcement made by United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe. His sentencing date has not been set.

Marquetti-Blanco distributed one pound of methamphetamine to a co-conspirator, according to testimony and evidence presented in court. Another co-conspirator later sold the methamphetamine to an undercover DEA Special Agent in Port Charlotte, a press release said…
