After years of staring at a storm-battered stump instead of a full boardwalk, Corpus Christi regulars are finally getting their pier back. Bob Hall Pier, the signature fishing spot at Padre Balli Park on North Padre Island, is set to reopen to the public on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, with a ribbon-cutting at 11 a.m. The pier has been shut down since Hurricane Hanna ripped away the T-head in July 2020 and has now been rebuilt for both walkers and anglers.
