Elemi restaurant owner Emiliano Marentes is well known for his upscale dining concept, which has earned him multiple James Beard Award chef nominations. Most recently, the restaurant was named a semifinalist for Outstanding Restaurant.
But recently, he decided to flip the switch on a new restaurant concept, giving an homage, if you will, to the Mexican-style taqueria.
