A 22-year-old suspected graffiti vandal has been arrested after years of reports of his tag appearing on public and private property in the Portland area.
William P. Matthews, of the Cedar Mill area of Washington County, is lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center on five counts of first-degree criminal mischief and three counts of second-degree criminal mischief.
Portland Police Bureau served a search warrant on Matthews’ vehicle and attached trailer in Washington County on Thursday, Feb. 19, where they reported finding more than 150 cans of spray paint, 13 one-gallon buckets of paint, paint rollers and brushes, hundreds of custom “Rango” stickers, paint-stained clothing and other graffiti-related materials…
