Rhubarb reopens, the next generation carries on farm-to-table legacy

ASHEVILLE – In the week of Rhubarb’s reopening, Executive Chef Mallory Foster and her culinary crew prepared dishes that Rhubarb diners have come to know and love, as well as new inventive plates on the revamped menu.

“The food will taste good because we love being here. I want to rewrite the book for what people expect to come out of the kitchen,” Foster said.

Family, friends, neighbors and those who’ve worked at the restaurant since its founding in 2013 filled the dining room during the soft opening to celebrate its official debut on Feb. 19…
