Fort Eustis soldier sentenced for coercion of minors

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A Fort Eustis soldier was sentenced to 10 years in prison Monday for coercion and enticement of a child, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia said.

Brady Beck Fant, 32, used social media platforms to take part in sexually graphic conversation with girls who were minors, according to court documents, and, besides these conversations, he received sexually graphic impages and videos of the victims, and he sent sexually graphic images and videos of himself to at least one victim.

The North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children taskforce identified Fant, and then law enforcement seized his electronic devices, on which investigators found child sexual abuse materials, court documents stated…
