CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY)– The Gilmerton Bridge in Chesapeake was closed in both directions early Monday morning due to multiple vehicle crashes.
Just before 6 a.m., officials took to social media to report the closure.
At 7:30 a.m., city officials confirmed S. Military Highway at the Gilmerton Bridge had reopened.
