FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Two charges have been dismissed against a Fort Wayne man ahead of his murder trial in a deadly 2017 shooting.
Carlos Ellis, 27, was one of two men charged in the death of 36-year-old Nicholas Hennan, who was found dead in a car that crashed into a tree on Aug. 3, 2017, according to court records.
All three charges, murder, felony murder, and attempted robbery, filed against the other man charged in the case were dismissed last year after a prosecutor filed a motion to dismiss without prejudice, meaning the charges could be refiled at a later date.
