LIST: Shelters open in Tampa Bay as cold front moves in

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — As a cold front is expected to move into the Tampa Bay area this week, this could mean danger for those without shelter or adequate heat in their homes.

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Watch as temperatures are forecasted to dip to or below 40 degrees.

Here is where people can find refuge from the cold as shelters open their doors.

Hillsborough County

Hillsborough County’s cold weather shelters will be activated on Sunday through Tuesday for those in need of accommodations. All shelters will be accepting guests from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday unless they reach full capacity.
