Zeke used to be a stuffed animal. He’d sit quietly in the toy store among all his other stuffed animal friends when the store was open. He’d put on his sweetest face and try to stay perfectly still. But when the store closed for the day, Zeke and his friends would party hard.
The stuffed unicorns loved playing hide and seek with Zeke, until he’d try to chew on their horns. Zeke loved chasing after the bunnies, but when he caught them, all he wanted to do was cuddle.
Zeke and the teddy bears would work together to climb to the top of the counter by the register, where the employees kept their snacks. It was a true jamboree every night. But when the dawn came, and it was time to open shop, Zeke and the other toys would run back to their places and wait…
