ALABAMA (WRBL) — An urgent red flag warning has been issued in several counties in the southern half of central Alabama until 6 p.m. Monday.
According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham, the fire warning was issued around 9 a.m. Monday morning. The following counties are under red flag warnings:

- Pickens
- Tuscaloosa
- Shelby
- Talladega
- Clay
- Randolph
- Sumter
- Greene
- Hale
- Perry
- Bibb
- Chilton
- Coosa
- Tallapoosa
- Marengo
- Dallas
- Autauga
- Lowndes
- Elmore
- Montgomery
- Macon
- Bullock
- Barbour
Winds are predicted to reach up to 25 miles per hour with a relative humidity as low as 22%.
