Director for Nashville Dept. of Transportation resigns

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – There is a new leader at the helm of the Metro Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT).

Mayor Freddie O’Connell’s office announced Monday that Director Diana Alarcon resigned on Friday. The circumstances leading up to her departure are unclear.

“I would like to express my gratitude for the time, energy, and dedication she brought to the role over the last four years,” a statement from O’Connell said. “I appreciate her partnership and faithful service to the city we both love, and we wish her the best.”…
