The city council recently shared major highlights and updates from the Fontana Police Department — including swearing in four new officers and recognizing two employees of the month. Police Chief Michael Dorsey and Captains James Burton and Brian Binks led the presentations, expressing joy and pride in the contributions and accomplishments of their officers and employees.
“It’s my honor to introduce to you — our community — today our four newest police officers,” Dorsey said. “In a few months, they’re gonna be solo, competent police officers in our city serving you.
