CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – A controlled burn is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Carolina Beach State Park, according to North Carolina State Parks officials.
The burn is set to begin around noon. Roads, trails, and service roads in the vicinity will be closed during the burn, including the Snow’s Cut Trail, Campground Trail, and the campground.
The Visitor Center, Marina, and remaining trails will operate as normal. The park will stay open throughout the burn…
