OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – An Omaha-area woman who flew to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for her parents’ wedding is stranded there after cartel violence swept across the resort city over the weekend, canceling flights and shutting down streets.
Bayleigh Koch was still in Puerto Vallarta Monday with no confirmed flight home until Thursday. Some members of her family are not expected to leave until the weekend.
