THOMAS COUNT, Kan. (KWCH) – Eastbound Interstate 70 between Colby and Oakley is back open following an overnight crash on the interstate in Thomas County involving two semis.
The Kansas Highway Patrol’s report showed that neither driver was seriously injured in the crash reported about 1:14 a.m. about five miles west of U-83, on I-70. One was hospitalized with a minor injury, the other wasn’t hurt.
The KHP crash narrative showed that an eastbound freightliner out of Colorado was eastbound on I-70, traveling at about 60 mph when it hit a second semi, out of Georgia, on the left rear of the trailer…
