LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The first few months of a baby’s life can bring contentment, chaos and change. For many parents, one of the hardest moments is when they have to return to work and leave their children in someone else’s care. Now, state employees have a new option of bringing their baby to work.
Gov. Sarah Sanders enacted the Infant at Work policy that allows state employees to bring their babies to the office, with a supervisor’s permission. Under the policy, employees can bring infants from four weeks old up to 6 months old.
