Crews fight flames after barbecue food truck catches fire in Puyallup

A food truck in the Puyallup area caught fire earlier today.

In a Facebook post published at 10:12 a.m., Central Pierce Fire and Rescue said crews were on the scene of a vehicle fire at Fifth Street Southeast and 39th Avenue Southeast.

“Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke and flames visible coming from a food truck,” the post said. “Firefighters quickly stretched hose lines to begin fire suppression efforts. No injuries reported.”…
