No injuries after Amtrak hits Mustang stuck on Milwaukie tracks Friday night

MILWAUKIE, Ore. (KATU) — A black Ford Mustang left stuck on railroad tracks in Milwaukie was hit by an Amtrak train Friday night, but police said no one was hurt.

Milwaukie police were called at about 6:35 p.m. on Feb. 20 to the intersection of Southeast Harrison Street and Southeast Railroad Avenue on a report of a black sedan stuck on the train tracks.

Officers immediately requested that railway managers stop train traffic, but while officers were en route, dispatch was told a train had struck the vehicle…
