It feels like every time we turn around lately, another familiar restaurant is calling it quits in the Capital Region. After watching local delis close and chain spots like Carrabba’s and Denny’s shut down, we now have to add another name to the list. This time it is Applebee’s.
The Applebee’s at 268 Saratoga Road in Glenville is set to close for good in April. If you have ever grabbed a casual dinner there or met friends for appetizers, you might want to plan one last visit. The final day of service will be Sunday, April 12th.
The local franchise owner shared appreciation for the Glenville community, saying they are thankful for the support over the past decade and hope guests will continue visiting their other Capital Region locations. They also confirmed that employees and managers were allowed to transfer to nearby restaurants, which is welcome news for the staff…
