TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Jacob Alejandro, a coffee shop located at 274 River Street, is moving down the street to 9 First Street. With the move, the shop will be adding a natural wine bar.

“In order to continue evolving, refining our craft, expanding our offerings, and delivering the JA. Experience at the level we envision, we have made the bold and exciting decision to relocate to a new space just steps away from our current location,” said owners Alejandro and Jake Griffin-Diaz.
The owners have another location in Albany called JA. Pequeño. In July 2025, they announced they were opening a natural wine bar called JAJA in the former Downtube Bicycle Works space at 466 Madison Avenue in Albany.

Now, JAJA will also be coming to Troy and co-operate as the same business at the new location. Jake Griffin-Diaz told NEWS10 that they are still planning to open the wine bar in Albany…
