BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – The Burke County Sheriff’s Office reported two serious incidents to the media involving the same inmate and two correctional officers.
The inmate is identified as Jayven Ward. He was originally arrested June 10th, 2025, and is being held on a Felony Murder charge, two charges of Armed Robbery, one charge of 1st Degree Home Invasion. and three counts of Aggravated Assault, including three felony gun charges.
