Bakersfield PD searching for man who allegedly stole iPhone, chased employee with hammer

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for a man suspected of stealing an iPhone from a store in central Bakersfield.

On Tuesday, Feb. 10, the suspect allegedly stole an iPhone 16 from the T-Mobile store at 1109 Chester Ave. He chased an employee out of the store with a hammer, according to police.

Officials described the suspect as a man wearing a brown jacket, brown pants, black beanie and glasses…
