NORTH CAROLINA — A Charlotte man has been arrested after police say they seized more than 77 pounds of illegal drugs and 18 firearms during a lengthy investigation.
Raheem Raysean Taylor was taken into custody on Feb. 13 and faces numerous trafficking and weapons charges, according to court documents.
Officers initially found 526 grams — about 1.16 pounds — of powder cocaine at the time of Taylor’s arrest. A subsequent search of his home on Chalkstone Road uncovered:
- 73.6 pounds of marijuana
- 1,060 grams (2.34 pounds) of MDMA
- 300 grams (0.66 pounds) of cocaine
- 26 grams (0.06 pounds) of fentanyl
