NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department announced Tuesday that it has realigned resources and will have an increased presence in the northern regions of the city.
According to the agency, Northwood Estates, Deer Park, and the Greenridge Road corridor, among other areas, will see a heightened police presence as a “deterrence to criminal activity.”
Police say the enhanced presence is designed to provide an added layer of security and visibility, while addressing concerns and “fostering a stronger sense of community.”…
