77 pounds of illegal drugs found during massive bust in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A man was recently arrested after more than 77 pounds of illegal drugs were found during a massive bust in Charlotte.

Raheem Raysean Taylor was arrested on Feb. 13 and was charged with a long list of trafficking and weapons charges.

Court documents revealed that Taylor had 526 grams — or 1.16 pounds — of powder cocaine at the time of his arrest. A subsequent search of his home on Chalkstone Road turned up the following:

  • 73.6 pounds of marijuana
  • 1,060 grams (2.34 pounds) of MDMA
  • 300 grams (0.66 pounds) of cocaine
  • 26 grams (0.06 pounds) of fentanyl

Documents said that 18 guns were also found during the house search, two of which were confirmed stolen…
