VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Hampton man was sentenced to 19 years in connection with pouring Purple Power on an acquaintance of the mother of his children and stealing items from him, according to the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Virginia Beach.
On June 13, 2023, Demario Evans, 26, and his children’s mother, Ariel Thompson conspired to rob an associate of Thompson. Evidence determined Evans and Thompson were both members of the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips gang.
Thompson texted the victim about picking her up in Newport News and spending time together at his apartment in Virginia Beach.
