ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) – A 46-year-old New Haven woman is behind bars Tuesday for allegedly defrauding welfare programs of more than $34,000 over four years.
Amanda Roach is charged with five counts of fraud, five counts of perjury and three counts of forgery, charges that carry a combined potential sentence of more than 30 years in prison. She is currently being held at the Allen County Jail.
