Part of old Plymouth building reduced to rubble

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Part of the old Plymouth building in Evansville has been demolished.

During its decades of operations the plant has manufactured more than a million vehicles between 1935 to 1959.

During world war two the facility was also retooled in under five months in order to produce ammunition, engines and aircraft parts as its new name, The Evansville Ordinance Plant. It now operates under the company escalade sports, producing fitness and recreational equipment…
