Those who frequent the Publix Super Market at Tower Square might soon have to do their grocery shopping somewhere else — at least temporarily.
Gainesville-based EDA Consultants on behalf of Publix has submitted plans to Alachua County to demolish and reconstruct a 55,000-square-foot grocery store at 5801 SW 75th St.
It appears based on the submitted plans that the other businesses located in the plaza — Piesanos, The UPS Store and Garlic & Ginger, among others — will remain untouched…
