KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Rural Metro announced that open burning is banned on Tuesday in Knox County.
Rural Metro stated that this was because of dry conditions and forecasts of high wind speed. It encouraged people seeking more information to contact Knox County Air Quality Management, which is available at 865-215-5900 or through the county website.
