MARQUETTE, Mich. (WILX) – Volunteers and law enforcement are searching for Trenton Massey, a 21-year-old Northern Michigan University student from Laingsburg, who was last seen in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Marquette police said Massey was last seen walking on a bike path near Lake Superior on Sunday morning. Surveillance video shows him wearing a black and olive-green winter coat. He appeared to be “disoriented and having difficulty walking,” police officials said in a Sunday morning press release. Authorities said they believe he was heading back to his residence.
Search efforts have since shifted to focus on the water near the Lower Harbor.
