Daycare teacher off the job after allegedly assaulting co-workers

BARTLETT, Tenn. — An employee at a Bartlett daycare is off the job after reportedly assaulting two co-workers earlier this month.

WREG has learned the woman is no longer employed at Bartlett Kindercare as a result of the incident that occurred on Feb. 4.

Tasha Turner, a teacher at Bartlett Kindercare, suffered an abrasion to her forehead and a scratch under her eye after she claims she was assaulted by a co-worker at the day care on Bartlett Center Drive.

The reported incident was learned after a parent contacted WREG about featuring Turner on News Channel 3’s Pass It On.

“Recently there was an incident at the school where there was an altercation involving some of the teachers,” said Jayme Wilson, parent of a child at Bartlett Kindercare.

According to the incident report, Turner claims an argument involving a co-teacher over where a coat was placed got out of control and she called for assistance…
