ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A jury has found Jamie Busch guilty of killing her sister and dumping her body in the Genesee River following a weeks-long trial in Monroe County Court.
Jamie Busch was convicted of second-degree murder and two counts of tampering with physical evidence in the death of her sister, Penny Busch. The verdict was unanimous, according to a News 8 journalist in the courtroom.
Prosecutors alleged Jamie strangled her sister before disposing of her remains in the Genesee River. Penny’s body was recovered in October 2024.
