TOLEDO, Ohio — The legendary band Chicago will be performing in Toledo this summer, with tickets going on sale at the end of this week.
According to a press release from Live Nation Concerts, Chicago will perform at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheatre on June 30 this year, bringing the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame inductees to the Glass City for an outdoor performance.
Known for their hits such as “25 or 6 to ,” “Saturday in the Park,” and “Make Me Smile,” Chicago’s songwriters Robert Lamm and James Pankow were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017. The band is also known for its iconic horns sound, including the trombone: Pankow received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Trombone Association in 2020.
