The bicyclist who died after being hit by a vehicle in Wilmington on Feb. 20 has been identified.
On Feb. 20, shortly before 4:30 p.m., officers with the Wilmington Police Department responded to the 6900 block of Market Street following reports that a bicyclist had been struck by a vehicle, according to the initial news release from the Wilmington Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male lying in the roadway. A nearby witness immediately began lifesaving measures; however, despite those efforts, the bicyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene…
