ELKTON — A man identified as a suspect in a Delaware gunshots-fired case is facing criminal charges after investigators confiscated two handguns while searching his Elkton residence, according to Cecil County District Court records.
Investigators identified the suspect as 52-year-old Evangelista Gonzalez, who was on probation in an unrelated assault case at the time that police seized those firearms, court records show.
On Friday, at the conclusion of a violation-of-probation hearing relating to Gonzalez’ February 2024 conviction for second-degree assault, a Cecil County Circuit Court judge ordered that Gonzalez be held on no bond, according to court records…
