HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – A Henderson County man is facing several charges related to the exploitation of a minor.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office posted that 34-year-old Jared Michael Bernal was arrested without incident following a search warrant at a home in the Etowah community.
He is being charged with:
- 5 counts of Third Degree Exploitation of a Minor
- 5 counts of Second Degree Exploitation of a Minor
- 1 count of Felony Secret Peeping
Henderson County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) worked together on executing the search warrant and arresting Bernal, according to the sheriff’s office.
